• Guide clients in crafting and developing their legislative priorities and “asks”
• Develop advocacy materials and talking points for clients
• Research relevant legislation related to client’s interests and goals
• Research government-funded programs that impact client’s services
• Alert clients to government funding opportunities where applicable

Coalition-building

• Identify like-minded coalitions for clients to join in order to influence legislation
